Durham and Jennie will be delighted to host our recognition of lighting design excellence in Theatre and Television in the UK with the fourth iteration of The Profile Awards in 2027.

Durham Marenghi has designed the lighting for a wide variety of Theatre, Opera, Dance, Trade, Concert and Television productions and in the field of the Greatest Shows on Earth lit the Winter Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies in Turin 2006, the London 2012 Handover Ceremony at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008, the Sochi 2014 Winter Paralympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies and the Rio Summer Olympic Ceremonies in 2016.

Jennie Marenghi started her career as a professional dancer and since the Winter Olympics in 2006 has been fundamental to the success of the lighting design work of DurhamLD Ltd, Jennie is also an accomplished photographer and has captured many of the most memorable images of our work, most notably the Diamond Jubilee Concert. In April 2026 Durham and Jennie celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary; one of the longest lasting double acts in our industry!
